On January 28th Varuzhan Nersesyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Unites States of America, met with Congressman Mike Thompson (D – California).
During the meeting, Ambassador Nersesyan spoke about the reforms currently undertaken by the Armenian Government and Armenia's foreign policy priorities.
The Ambassador presented to the Congressman, who is the founder of Congressional wine caucus, rich traditions of Armenian winemaking and successes achieved in that field. In this connection the Ambassador suggested to organize an event dedicated to the promotion of Armenian wines.
